WHO I AM

More than a
legal career.

My professional journey has evolved across financial services, legal practice, risk, business and entrepreneurship.

Over time, those different experiences shaped a multidisciplinary way of thinking.

I look beyond the immediate issue to understand the wider legal, commercial, financial and human context behind it. The objective is not simply to provide an answer, but to help people understand the decision in front of them more clearly.

01 Advocate Legal clarity and representation.
02 Entrepreneur Building multidisciplinary institutions.
03 Strategic Adviser Connecting law, risk and business.
04 Decision Partner Helping clients see the bigger picture.

WHY I BUILT VIVS

Expertise matters.
Judgement matters more.

Over the years, I realised that clients rarely come with problems that fit neatly into a single category.

A legal issue may also be a financial issue. A property matter may involve risk, documentation, negotiation and long-term commercial consequences. An investment decision may require due diligence, legal clarity and a disciplined understanding of downside.

That thinking shaped VIVS. The idea was never to build businesses around isolated services. It was to build institutions capable of looking at a problem from more than one angle and helping clients make better-informed decisions.

The real value of advice is not in how much information it contains, but in whether it helps someone decide with greater clarity.

01 Understand before advising
02 Protect the downside
03 Think beyond the immediate issue
VENTURES

Ideas become more useful
when they become institutions.

My work extends beyond individual advisory. Through VIVS Legal and VIVS India, I have helped build platforms that bring together legal expertise, risk thinking, due diligence, analytics and business insight.

ONE PHILOSOPHY

Different disciplines. Different institutions. The same commitment to informed judgement.

SELECTED EXPERIENCE

Matters that shaped
my perspective.

Experience is not only measured by the number of matters handled. It is shaped by the complexity of the decisions involved, the risks considered and the lessons carried forward.

01 PROPERTY & REAL ESTATE

When ownership, documentation and commercial reality do not align.

Context

Property matters involving title, possession, development, documentation and competing interests.

Complexity

Multiple stakeholders, legacy records, regulatory layers and commercial consequences.

Perspective

Good property advice begins with understanding both the legal record and the practical reality behind it.

02 FINANCIAL & RECOVERY

Where contracts, regulation and recovery strategy intersect.

Context

Financial disputes, debt-related matters, banking issues and recovery-oriented legal strategy.

Complexity

Technical documentation, financial exposure, timelines and regulatory obligations.

Perspective

Recovery decisions should balance legal strength, commercial value and the cost of prolonged action.

03 FRAUD & INVESTIGATION

When the documents do not tell the complete story.

Context

Matters requiring document review, investigation, verification and risk assessment.

Complexity

Incomplete information, conflicting narratives and the need to separate fact from assumption.

Perspective

Investigation is often less about finding more information and more about identifying which information actually matters.

THE PRINCIPLE

Each matter leaves behind more than a result. It leaves perspective.

THE PRINCIPLE

Experience informs.
Judgement decides.

The value of experience is not simply in what has been done before, but in recognising what matters now and choosing the right way forward.
